Often when a pastor talks about giving, people get uncomfortable. That’s why we think it’s important to explain why we talk about giving and encourage people to give.  

Giving is a form of worshiping and honoring God, just like praying, singing, serving, or studying the Bible.  Everything we have is from God, so when we give, we’re giving back to Him.  Giving demonstrates a trust in God, that He will provide what we need from what’s left after our giving.
